Lawn Bowls

We are affiliated to the English Bowling Association, the Basildon and District Bowling Association, the Southend and District Bowling Association, the English Woman's Bowling Association and the Essex County Bowling Association.

We play Men's, Ladies and mixed Bowls matches in regulation grey and white bowls wear - no fancy colours, on a green of six rinks. It will accommodate seven, if necessary. The green is maintained by the members themselves. Such is the reputation for the quality of the bowling surface that it is consistently booked as a neutral green by Finalists and Semi-finalists, of other clubs, when playing County and District competitions.
