South Runwell Flying Club

We are a friendly group of radio controlled model enthusiasts ranging from newcomers, to novices, through to experts in all types of IC, electric, fixed wing and helicopters. Novices are not permitted to fly unsupervised but are guided by club instructors from their first flight to the B.M.F.A. certificate of achievement, which is known as the “A” certificate.
We fly at our new site at Runwell social Club, Monday’s to Fridays and during the football closed season, we can fly on Saturday and Sunday from 9.00a.m until dusk. If you are interested in finding out more about the hobby please walk across to where we are flying but keep an eye open if the planes are flying and wait until you are called across. In fact we recommend that newcomers visit the field to find out more about getting started. As you may make a poor choice of engine, model and radio control gear.
